Always open more than browser windows at a time.
While waiting websites to download pictures and images, you can browse or
read another sites in another windows. Using Netscape 7.1 is great for me
because I just add Tab for another window.
Always secure your creadit card information.
Make sure that your credit card is not expose to other Internet users. A
little lock symbol in your browser window means that your sensitive data
is protected. Dont use credit card payment on public computers or Internet
cafe's.
Turning OFF your graphics
If you are interested more on reading articles and news, you can switch

Search option familiarity
If your familiar with search options in search engines and search directories,
you will experienced better surfing. Most search engines let you refine
your search by entering keywords or keyphrases in a certain topics.
